After I had applied for a position through a former colleague, an engineer contacted me to set up a phone interview a week later. The interview was conducted via Webex.

I had one telephonic screening. The interviewer asked very basic data structure questions, such as: * Inserting at the start of a linked list * The difference between `calloc` and `malloc` * Abstract virtual functions

No interview process. Cisco acquired our technology, and we were hired with it.
