Pros

Good benefits, supportive leaders, transparency, and great team members (though the last point depends on the specific team).

Cons

Work-life balance: many say it is very good at Cisco, but it depends on which team you are in.

I work for Supply Chain. We have been struggling a lot for the last few years with work-life balance. Many of my colleagues mentioned that they put in nearly 50 hours every single week. I personally put in around 45 hours every single week.

On top of that, not being able to retain employees and some great team members leaving, I see that work-life balance to go even worse.

Advice to Management

Understand and respect employees' calendars if you have an employee who works different times.
