There were a number of good aspects. They had good benefits and were well run from an HR perspective. There were also plenty of opportunities for horizontal moves, but you just need to be located in the right countries or corner of the nation.
The biggest negative I see here is that they are outsourcing the heck out of the place, from software development and support to HR and desktop support.
I was getting to the opinion that the majority of the folks you speak with now are all contractors.
I understand it's all about the stockholders' equity, but it's just not what it used to be.
My advice to management is to keep up the solid internal culture development.
