Cisco is huge (130,000 people while I was there) but felt much smaller. They take diversity and inclusion very seriously, and their support is excellent.
The training is excellent, and they are a worldwide technology company that always seem to invest in their employees.
Needless to say, their products are world-class, providing the plumbing for the internet.
A very much acquisition-based business model. To keep to their desired size, they periodically get rid of whole departments. The leaving terms are very generous, so nobody goes away feeling aggrieved.

Software Engineer
There were two coding rounds and one technical round; overall, a pleasant experience. There was a long time between application submission and when the interviewing process began, but the interviewing process was completed in a few weeks.

The experience was really good overall. Although certain questions seemed irrelevant, like file system architecture, it was overall a good mix of OS, DBMS, and computer network fundamentals. Thank you for your time.
