Pros

Flexible work-from-home policy. Reasonably good benefits.

Cons

Cisco is an engineering company run by sales people. It always has been and probably always will be. This shows in the way they are always chasing the cash flow instead of thinking about what lies ahead in the world of networking.

This is why they missed the whole cloud computing market. When they finally found it, they fell back on their old game of trying to lock in the customer with a proprietary solution (no matter what they may say). The world isn't buying that anymore.

Not to worry, they can just lay off staff and buy more with a technology that's currently hot.

Advice to Management

Find a way to quietly retire and let your employees breathe.
