Fostering conscious culture, social justice, and inclusion from the top
Open and frequent dialogue at the top on company financial, social, and environmental impacts. Top management shows genuine care for employees and communities. Working here for 5+ years, it always amazes and impresses me how talented my teammates and Cisco employees are.
The frequent layoff is the biggest concern, but Cisco is trying something new recently to give higher priority for job openings to people impacted by layoffs due to exiting/resizing of products.
Given the pursuit and application of cutting-edge technologies, the schedule is always hard to predict, and hence work-life balance is always a challenge.
Keep doing what's right for its employees, community, and society. It's the right thing to do.
