The pay, work, and remote flexibility are very appropriate. There are many benefits included in compensation for software engineers. The work itself is also challenging but rewarding if you like cloud/network engineering.
If you have followed the news over the last year, you probably saw that Cisco has had many layoffs in the last 12 months. At least 3 that I am aware of.
New hires are often chosen for this because they are largely more replaceable than engineers that have been there for 10+ years and are local experts that would be very hard to replace. So I would advise against hiring into this company until its internal business issues have settled out.
Work/life balance is also very hit or miss, but that's a lot of tech these days.
I have no advice that would be heeded.
An OA (Online Assessment) is auto-generated just after application. Then, based on performance on the OA, you get a reach-out. These are followed by rounds such as technical, behavioral, and screening rounds. The screening is followed by technical ro
All technical questions: Domain knowledge: * Computer networks (How to get an IP address? What is PCIe? What is Ping?) C programming language: * Linked lists (Add node to the tail) * Bit manipulation (Function for set bit)
I completed two phone interviews. They asked basic questions, and nothing was too difficult. The interview mostly focused on past experience. It seemed a little impersonal, almost as if they were reading from a script.
