I consider my time at Cisco more as a career builder than as a job.
A lot of waste of resources, ineffective senior management, and the Peter Principle's manifestation at its best. Your reviews are not very objective. Then there's the mindset of entitlement from the least productive dinosaurs!
No holy cows. Use this economic downturn to prune the least productive and burdensome employees. That clears the air out, and you will see innovation thrive.
