Pros

Lots of learning opportunities Great coworkers

Cons

Was given a garbage task of bringing up Microsoft Lync Server. Never given the opportunity of doing work agreed upon during the interviewing process.

Contract terminated without one minute's notice. Thursday, people were cheering me over a major milestone. Saturday, got a call that the contract was over.

Contractors are really treated poorly. Pay is rather poor for the type of work performed.

Advice to Management

High turnover leads to poor morale.

Get rid of the cutthroat environment.

Have the permanent employees do their share of the work.
