The first stage was a phone interview through a recruiter, which went well. They used CoderPad and seemed well-organized, and the interview included CV questions.
I was asked to come on-site and booked a full day off work. They mentioned they would provide lunch, so I arrived without bringing any. Apparently, something triggered the first interviewer not to proceed further. He stated he would get the next person, then pretended that person was too busy. He answered a few questions I had about the job, and then said he would show me out and they would reschedule.
There was no indication they had decided not to go ahead. Apparently, they were too cowardly to tell me that, and no one else spoke to me or explained the apparent rescheduling. I am amazed a company could be so rude.
There is a lot of value in learning which companies are never worth considering early in your career, but that's all I got from them. I am very disappointed.
