Process
I received an assignment, but I didn't get it 100% correct. I've been waiting for feedback for so long that the position probably isn't open anymore; I just wasted time.
I don't know who was responsible for my application, but it's definitely their fault.
Questions
Coding two assignments for a couple.

Great Pay, Terrible Wlb
Software Engineer • Current Employee
New York, New York, United States
June 5, 2021
Pros: The only good thing is the compensation.
Cons: This is the worst place that you will ever work at. Worst WLB, constantly asking you to work on weekends.
5.0
Great if you know what you're getting into
Software Engineer • Former Employee
January 6, 2024
Pros: Compensation and benefits were really good during Covid, treating employees well. Company events are of really high quality, which is something people take for granted. Work can be interesting depending on the team. Most employees are pretty motivated about their work and are very competent.
Cons: It takes a certain type of person to work here. You will have to pull longer hours, but there's reward accordingly for this.
Some groups encounter unsavory politics. Team culture is super dependent on the manager.

Overall, a good place to work, but the hours are hefty
Software Engineer • Current Employee
New York, New York, United States
March 28, 2024
Pros: Got to learn a lot about finance through the quants and traders.
Good benefits.
Cons: Hours are hefty; most people work 50+ hours a week.
Culture is not the best, in the sense that most people usually just eat lunch at their desk. There isn't much socializing outside work topics (not completely nonexistent either, but definitely on the lower end).
