Dreadful. I had a great phone interview and then went in person. The first interviewer asked me a couple of questions, which went okay. Then he asked me about a subject in which I replied I don't have a tonne of experience – which you can tell if you read my CV. So then he left, and they just left me sitting there for 45 minutes while they found someone who was clearly giving me a 'courtesy interview' before chucking me out of the building. They didn't even pay my expenses for going there!
I don't mind that they rejected me for not having deep experience in that subject; that's fine. There's no point in doing something that's not a good fit, and I received three offers out of this round of interviewing anyway.
It's that they could have asked me about that on the phone (or read my CV) and saved everyone's time. And as for acting like arseholes through the interview – that's VERY poor performance from what's supposed to be a top-tier employer. I haven't had an interview experience that bad since I was looking for a job in retail as a kid.
