Pros: Coming from a larger tech company, I wasn't sure what to expect from my first venture into the world of startups, but I can confidently say it's exceeded all of my expectations and then some! In particular, the company is filled with so many motivated, talented, and bright individuals where you learn and grow so much in a fast-paced environment, shipping high-impact products. Above all of that, my favorite thing has been the culture surrounding the company. It really does feel like you can get to know your teammates beyond just a work capacity (and actually enjoy their company, haha). From company off-sites to board game nights to DJ Friday events, the energy that everyone brings to work every day is refreshing and really makes me happy to be here.

Cons: Being a startup, you can expect things to be moving pretty quickly. It's a double-edged sword. On one hand, you won't be having as much hand-holding as in a larger company with so many processes and frameworks established everywhere. But on the other hand, you will be growing faster than ever and hit the ground running.

Pros: I was honestly skeptical the first time I saw the 5 star rating on Glassdoor (before I worked here) because I'd never seen it before, but it's legitimately such a positive and fun place to work. The work is interesting, they really care about employees, and leadership is very thoughtful and intentional in their approach.

Cons: I can't think of any, except the usual high growth startup pains, which are a good problem to have!

Pros: Founders keep employee experience front and center. Fun, social, and creative workplace. Most employees have a life outside of work and aren't afraid to bring their whole selves to work. You'll be surrounded by driven, capable engineers – previous founders, ex-FAANG engineers, etc. DJ Fridays, free lunch, free dinner after 6pm, health insurance options that cover most out-of-pocket costs (better than my previous big tech insurance), regular happy hours, and team events. Due to the stellar culture, there's a higher concentration of female engineers than most other (if not all) tech companies. VERY healthy business metrics.

Cons: Clay is in a hyper-growth stage with 2x headcount growth in the past six months. With that comes some growing pains, but the executive team is mindful about retaining culture as we transition to a larger organization.
