Process

Very lengthy process for a small company like this.

  1. Technical coding challenge: 1 hr Parse a .csv file and match entries with each other such that no combination is repeated.

  2. Discuss your project in detail: 1 hr This was a very good round, and the interviewer was very friendly. Liked this session a lot because it felt like a conversation rather than an interview.

  3. Behavioural round with HR and a manager on the team The questions asked covered very edge cases. The questions were designed to find minor reasons to reject you. Didn't feel connected to the manager, and he was distracted a lot.

  4. 1 hr with a senior leader Felt like a conversation which was meaningful.

Overall, I felt like they were finding reasons to reject and weren’t enthusiastic about actually hiring, even though I did very well on technical rounds. No one can come to the org already functioning in the way Clio is. All that matters is if the person has passion for what they do, which they failed to recognize terribly.
