The first interview was a phone call with a Clio recruiter. We discussed my interest in the job, my experience level, and my compensation expectations (salary, benefits, etc.).
The next meeting was a meet and greet. It allowed the interviewers and myself to get to know each other better and for them to gauge my experience level.
After getting the OK from the first in-person interview, I received a take-home project to showcase my technical skills. This project involved following guidelines and then writing a program using Ruby on Rails to solve a presented problem.
I was then invited in for a more technical interview. During this interview, I commented on my approach to the take-home project. I was also presented with hypothetical situations and asked about my experience and how I would approach solving similar problems.
Finally, after receiving the OK from the previous interview, I was invited in to meet with one of the co-founders and the head of the Product department. This was also a meet and greet to assess cultural fit for Clio.
