Cool company, cool product, lots of growth.
Engineering is becoming toxic. Leadership is looking to an IPO and has shut the door to more people being included. A new policy was enacted so that only Senior hires would get stock options, and this wasn't announced or communicated, even to hiring managers. Leadership is becoming so insecure and disconnected that I can imagine them losing their minds over this review.
I know that so many of you started out wanting to do good. I hope you can go back to that, even though it can feel thankless.
Spoke with a recruiter, who was very professional and helpful. Then had a call with the hiring manager, followed by a system design interview with an engineer and a leadership interview with an HR partner.
The process was fairly straightforward. A call with HR, then a call with a senior executive of the company, and then a technical round. I wasn’t impressed with the call that I had with the senior executive. No respect was shown, and it seemed like
