The technical leaders throughout the company are willing and interested in sharing their expertise in order to advance the knowledge of the company at large. As with many people who are truly sharp, there is never any attitude of protection of my domain. Knowledge sharing is encouraged throughout the company, and all technical staff members are encouraged to participate and promote their areas of expertise.
Working remotely limits the ability to interact directly with many of the engineers who are hands-on with the Cloudera codebase. This is true of anyone who works remotely for any company.
