Screening questions covered background, low-level network programming, and a code-on-whiteboard exercise with the hiring manager.
The interview was awkward. The problems were very unspecified. Clearly, the interviewer wanted me to ask questions to discover more about the actual problem statement, but every time I asked a question, the answer would be very dry, specific, and shallow. I would have to ask again and again, growing tired of repeating myself just to discover exactly what they wanted me to do.
It was not a pleasant interview. I dropped out after the screening as I do not want to work with a manager who interviews like that.
