HR was disorganized. There is no HR in Singapore, so all inquiries went through the US for scheduling. It took three weeks to sort out the schedule, as they had no personnel in the SG timezone to conduct the interview. There was no manager there as well.
The first attempt was not a success due to a confusion with the timezone. HR apparently thought I was a US candidate when I specifically mentioned the SG timezone. Was HR this dense?
Once they set the schedule, the interviewer (Indian) didn't even bother to enable video, even though I understood it was a Skype interview. From there, I knew he had no interest in interviewing me. It was no different from a phone call if it was just a Skype voice call. They could have called me on the phone and not wasted three weeks on scheduling. Did they have no money to call candidates?
BGP, Linux stuff, looping statements, Ansible/Puppet
