Using Google Chat for a company this size makes remote/X-timezone collaboration difficult, inefficient, and frustrating. Flexible processes are great, but some for X-team collaboration are missing or not enforced. This leads to every team doing things their own way sometimes.
Invest away from Google Chat to enhance X-team, X-timezones, and remote collaboration, as well as to enhance the already-great culture.
