Bro culture is very strong. They try to disguise it, but when you are a minority and a person of color, it's very clear.
Generally self-centered people who want success for themselves. They only care about you if you are raising the bar for the company.
Bad leadership decisions are questionable.
Advice to anyone considering Coinbase: Save yourself the trouble and don't.
Just be cautious; sometimes money is not everything. A bad company culture with diversity issues and a lack of leadership will reveal itself soon enough. I liked Coinbase as a company before I joined.
Please get some manager and senior management training for all teams. They are fostering a terrible culture and are not prepared for their roles.
Diversity is not just hiring diverse candidates; it is also about inclusion, hence DEI efforts.
I would not recommend this company to any of my friends unless all they care about is making money. Money can buy you great talent, but it will not help you keep talent.

The interview process consisted of six total rounds. I felt like I performed very well, but was then told they would not be extending me an offer, as my background is not an ideal match.
Took a Codesignal coding challenge in addition to an aptitude test, which was a bit unusual. Then, I had a recruiter screen. The on-site round consisted of two technical interviews with steps that increased in difficulty.
Recruiter call followed by an automated tech screen. Then, three rounds of on-site interviews: two technical and one behavioral with the hiring manager. It did take a while to find a team after the tech screen (around one month), and it ultimately
