A recruiter (external to Comcast) reached out about a DevOps Engineer position in Philadelphia. I was asked to first submit a small 'DevOps' project involving configuring a web server to a certain specification using automated tooling of my choice. I was told that "their engineers say they can do this in 15 minutes," but of course, that is generally unreliable when it comes to these sorts of assignments. I spent about 40 minutes on it, put it on Github, and sent the link to the recruiter. I never received feedback from Comcast, even with the recruiter trying several times to reach out to them.
