Phone screen with the hiring manager, followed a few days later by an on-site interview with a succession of paired team members. They asked me about my general experience and software tools I was familiar with. There was one instance of whiteboard programming.

1. The hiring manager asked me how I would troubleshoot apparently random set-top software reboots, what techniques and tools I would use to gather more information on the problem, and how to narrow down the list of causes.

2. A team member asked me to write code to initialize a two-dimensional array to a sequence of integers.

3. A second assignment at the same location involved another round of interviews and completing timed coding challenges in C and Python.
