I had my two rounds of interviews, and they said I was selected and would get a mail soon. However, there was no update for three weeks. When I mailed them, they said the position was filled. Why are they giving false hope and wasting candidate time?

Good. It consists of basic questions, but we have to explain them with practical and scenario-based questions. It can be easily cleared if we are good at these questions. Some will have cross-questions.
