If you're a customer service and sales-driven person, this is for you!

You will work in a call center-like environment, taking calls from customers about products or services. Although your position may be titled CAE or Technical Support, you will handle billing, technical support, customer service, and sales.

Cons

This is a metrics-driven position. If you don't meet your metrics, this can build anxiety and stress. If customer service is not your strong point, you will not do well in this position.

Advice to Management

Interviews should be more open and honest about the position of Tier 1 CAE. Metrix should not hinder someone from growing or moving within the company, especially if they are good workers and just seem to struggle with the CAE position.
