My experience was kinda weird. The recruiter called me to schedule another call with one of the hiring managers. The hiring manager was polite. We discussed my experience in general. Then, I was sent a REST API project to work on. Pretty simple stuff. One week later, I got the feedback that Junit test cases were not written. I was surprised because I associate startups with fast pace "real" work. If a 3-4 year experienced person can write a set of APIs she sure can write a couple of Junit test cases too. Well, since I had deadline approaching, I didn't write the test cases.
