Pros: Confluent as a company is really doing great and has some great leadership. The company itself is going really fast, and to add to it, they have an amazing work culture. For its size, it has reasonable benefits. Growth is great, and all your perks are based on meritocracy.

Cons: Sometimes decision-making can be hard because of the rate at which we are growing.

Pros: Pay is decent, but they're removing some key benefits.

Cons: Work-life balance is horrible in some places.

Pros: Confluent is a great place to work. It has all the good things the Bay has to offer: * Dog-friendly office * Free lunches * Great company culture * Great people * Flat hierarchy * A lot of room for personal growth * Remote-friendly * Working in a very interesting space * And countless others. This company is hiring, growing, and improving by the day. Regardless, there is work-life balance here. The best way to figure out what this place is like is to reach out to an employee and have them explain. I don't think anybody would say anything too bad.

Cons: Lots of work to be done. On-call once every ~two months. Every company that is growing like crazy will have some hiccups along the way. The important thing is that this one has the right values, which means any hiccup eventually gets ironed out.
