Process
First round: HR screening.
Second round: Coding in HackerRank, with two parts to the coding problem. This involved a LeetCode medium problem using a hash map (voting system).
HackerRank questions often have long descriptions. Reading the description and understanding the inputs usually takes 5-7 minutes.
The two coding sections were only for 35-40 minutes.
I was able to solve only the first part within the given timeframe. The interviewer seemed less experienced and was probably not trained to conduct interviews.
