This situation was super odd. A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, I had an HR call, and then an interview with the hiring manager.
We discussed my job experiences, dove into some projects a bit, and answered some scoping questions about high-level security knowledge.
It was a positive experience, and the manager was intelligent and empathetic. At the end of the call, they said I'd hear from HR about next steps, but then I was ghosted entirely.
I don't know if I didn't communicate enough interest, as I already had another offer lined up, but it's a bit odd to have been ghosted even though it was indicated that next steps would be happening.
