Pros

I was one of 5,000 let go in a recent layoff. However, their severance package was generous and included several months of continued full salary and benefits, including continuing to pay health insurance premiums, continued access to employee assistance plans, and a three-month program of career placement services to assist in the job-search process. Getting laid off was an unexpected blow, but I didn't feel like I got kicked to the curb without support.

Cons

Like most big companies, onboarding is slow, and training isn't the best.
