I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months.
Interviews started with an initial screening from the Team Leader (15 min), followed by a more in-depth interview with the Hiring Manager (60 min). At that point, I was feeling pretty confident...
Then came the live whiteboarding session. I was asked to define a data architecture for a retail customer, but there were hardly any requirements provided and understanding what they were looking for was very difficult. I was also steered away from discussing specific Databricks products during this session, which was the opposite of the guidance provided during my earlier interviews. I walked away from that third interview feeling like there was a major lack of communication between the first two and the third interviewer.
