Software Development Internship Interview Experience - Amsterdam, Netherlands

Process

The procedure starts with an online challenge. You get the feeling that something is wrong with this place from this very first step. The challenge requires you to open your camera and remove your headphones, as if you could cheat on this one and still succeed on the rest!

Afterwards comes an interview with HR. She didn't even open her camera and was late to the meeting.

Her first question: "When will you graduate?" I replied that it could be 2022 or 2023. She was like, "Oh, we are sorry, but we are only interested in candidates who will certainly graduate this year." Like, what difference does it make when I'll exactly graduate? I'm applying for an internship, and she didn't want to continue with the process since I'm not graduating in 2022.

Bottom line: a waste of time. Make your advertisement more clear and ask about the graduation date before you waste my two hours on a challenge.
