The Databricks interview process is screwed up big time. It is necessary that they get their act together, as many unpleasant interactions will only tarnish their reputation as a company.
I was contacted by the APAC region head for a Solutions Architect role. After a brief discussion, I was told I would be given a coding assignment to solve.
I kept following up but never received a response. Many weeks later, someone sent the assignment. I sent my code and again waited for weeks, consistently receiving the response that they hadn't graded the coding assignment.
Then, one fine day, they said they were not proceeding with my application. It was a complete waste of time and energy. I wouldn't recommend this process to anyone.
