Pros

Non-hyperbolically, the best engineering in the industry, and getting better with new hires.

Very supportive and teamwork-oriented environment. A great place to jumpstart a career.

Compact engineering core keeps the work environment tight-knit. It still has some small-company vibes (bi-weekly boba, random "snack attacks").

Work is engaging and feels impactful, with lots of room to leave your mark.

Higher-ups are very receptive to feedback and very transparent on "state of the union"-esque topics.

Cons

The office is terrible, although not an issue for COVID/remote work.

HR seems to follow industry trends instead of leading. As a result, some efforts seem flat/bare-minimum (e.g., D&I, COVID response).

The company looks to solve D&I in some divisions (engineering), but it does not seem like much headway has been made.
