The initial screening was with the HR person. She was very kind and explained everything in detail.
The position is in a hybrid model; they do not seem to have full remote options.
They are growing and hiring for a couple of EM positions.
They don't provide a salary range until asked, and I'm not sure this is a good practice.

The company's choices are clear and in-touch with reality.
Cons: Return-to-work policies (n days a week). Upper management is not evenly geographically distributed, and I'd be surprised to see them at my location.

Pros: People are helpful, friendly, and smart.
My area of the company has good work/life balance (though this depends on the team).
The company has a very strong brand and is a recognized leader in the space.
You are allowed and expected to have strong ownership of your product area.
Great autonomy - you can decide how to build your product.
Cons: Most teams have on-call rotations, and some teams have a much bigger burden than others. Lots of things are in flux, as the company has been growing quickly. Many responsibilities are pushed down to teams that really should be handled by common/infrastructure teams. Development can be slow because development infrastructure is lacking. Stock compensation depends on the market, and in a downswing (like now), that can be brutal.
