Process is similar to big tech: multiple rounds of interviews, algorithmic, system design and culture/values. At first, I was impressed by the organization of the process; the recruiters help you prepare for the interview and give you tips. Although the interviews were not hard, the feedback you get after them is a bit strange, if you get feedback at all. As others have mentioned, they say you lack technical depth, which I also found insulting. Feedback for the interviewers: Don't assume someone is only valuable if they have the exact skills you're looking for. People come from different backgrounds with different technical experience that is not always processing zillions of data. A very small percentage of devs actually do work with the scaling issues you present; you're missing on talent by moving forward people who spent dozens of hours reading interview prep material.
