Process

Several days after applying online, the recruiter called to book the first interview with me. He described the interview process, talked about the company, and what I was looking for.

The second interview was an online coding interview, featuring two exercises that could be categorized as easy and medium on LeetCode.

Then, I had a take-home project which took me about 6 hours to complete.

After that, there were four different interviews:

  • Another coding interview with a real-world problem to solve
  • Hiring manager interview
  • Distributed system design interview
  • System interview

Finally, I received no offer for the job I initially applied for. However, they asked me to discuss with another team leader who was looking for someone like me. The job he proposed suits me even better than the one I applied for in the first place, and I accepted their offer.

Overall, the process took about 5 weeks but was very smooth. Complete feedback was communicated between each round. The recruitment coordinator did a great job managing all the different rounds. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and seemed to genuinely care about the candidates.
