Recruiter Screen: A 30-minute call with HR. Mostly behavioral questions, going over my background, and checking my interest in Datadog.

Technical Interview:

• 20-minute resume discussion. Deep dive inside a project you've worked on. Use STAR method.
• 40-minute live coding session. The interviewer was friendly but expected clean code and good communication. 2 Leetcode Medium.
• 10-minute discussion to wrap the interview and ask questions to the interviewer.

Team Matching: Once you pass the technical bar, you meet with a specific team. It’s a mix of technical discussion and "vibe check" to see if you fit the team culture and expectations.

The hardest part was the technical interview; the interviewer emphasized how important the communication part is.
