I was contacted by a recruiter through LinkedIn and agreed to an interview for the position of Software Engineer. During the interview, it became clear that the recruiter had not read my CV before contacting me. He stated that due to my years of experience alone, company policy allowed him to include me in the Senior Software Engineer process. He also mentioned that there were many open positions but could not yet specify my exact tasks if hired. My impression was that the interviewer had a form to fill out for each candidate and his sole interest was to complete it.
