Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Brazil
Process
The interview process consisted of the following steps:
- Call with recruiter
- Take-home assessment focused on Node.js and SQL. It was not a hard challenge and resembled real-world problems.
- Architectural review with engineers who are part of the team you would be joining.
- Call with the CPO.
Unfortunately, I didn't receive the offer. The feedback was that they decided to move with someone else for this position. Because I had short tenures on my resume, they didn't feel I would stay with the company long, which is sad because I've been a customer since 2019 and was really planning to stay for at least two years.
However, the recruiter was great. She was transparent about the process all the time. Kudos to her!
Questions
The questions were all about the take-home assessment. They asked me to draw an architecture for an ETL integration as well.
