I was contacted by email by a guy from Dell to set up a phone call. After the initial phone call, he set up a call with the project manager from the US.
I received an email with the argument of the call, which was mainly background and motivational. Instead, it was full of very technical and specific questions.
I received no feedback after this call. Instead, I got an email for two more calls, this time technical (as they wrote). They had already sent me the dates without asking if I were free – very rude.
The first call was with a guy with a very strong Indian accent, and it was very difficult to understand. At the second call, nobody showed up, and I listened to waiting music for half an hour.
In the meantime, another recruiter from Dell sent me an email to schedule a call for the same position. Very organized company.
They rescheduled the last call, blaming a problem with the phone. However, I think they simply do not care about people.
At the end of the process, two weeks after the last call, I received a call telling me they had decided not to proceed in the process.
