Pros: If you want to enjoy life for a short duration (a retired life), then go for it. But keep in mind that you will have to pay heavily for it in the future, as this Dell-Perot termite will eat your career foundation, and you will have nowhere to go. Cons: Cheated on compensation as no variable pay. Company revenue has been in the red for the last 5 years. 100% uncertainty. You never know when and how Perot Systems will be sold. Be ready to search for a job outside 365 days a year. No salary hikes, no promotions. Basically, no motivation for employees. I feel it's a sinking ship with all deadwood from ex-Perot & Wipro aboard who do not have the ability to save it now, or they are too lazy to do anything. The termite has done its work. No projects. I believe the team is not capable of getting any, or they don't want to get any. Mr. Mike Dell is not at all interested in this Perot Services business, so it says it all.

Cons: Dell is a hierarchical organization. Senior management does not trust engineers. They expect engineers to bow to senior managers. Senior managers, who have knowledge about technology, are too focused on business ROI and do not invest in innovation. Dell is very bureaucratic. It takes ages to get a simple task done. Even simple mistakes are escalated. Feedback from managers is very critical. Performance is equated to behavior.
