Software Engineer • Current Employee
Mountain View, California, United States
February 27, 2013
Pros: Dynamic environment with smart and fun people to work with.
Flexible work hours and can work from home.
The work is hard and there is a lot of it.
If you don't mind working long hours and weekends, you will do well here.
Cons: Lots of acquisitions, so numerous changes with merging and overlapping technologies with the new software group. People who have been there for years tend to expect new folks to figure things out all by themselves. The QA team is very strict about how much time they give to new people who need to use their resources to run the tools in different environments. The company is run by QA. Conservative management.
