Pros

Work-life balance, remote working opportunity, and generally good people to work with.

Cons

As of writing, there have been three re-orgs this year alone. The promise of "opportunities" at each re-org results in opportunities for those already in management. Individual contributors get left behind. Benefits have been cut to where 401K is no longer matching. It is a very political environment when working with other orgs. There is no standard for advancement/promotion; it's a moving target, where some people get promoted for just breathing, while others do duties and functions two to three levels above their paygrade and don't get consideration.
