Generally get left alone to do whatever.
No one cares what you do, especially not devs or management.
Don't leave QA out of the planning phase. Integrate a dev and tester together to give the tester more impetus to learn and an interface to ask questions. Stop overworking the devs so maybe they get a chance for some mentorship.

The interview process consisted of one technical and one managerial round, followed by an HR discussion on compensation. The interviews felt more like discussions, and the gentlemen were very kind. The technical round took approximately an hour.
