They paid well, and the management was well done in most cases. They haven't performed a hard RIF like other tech companies, and it's a more reliable employment opportunity than other places that might overextend and then lay off employees.
A very time-based seniority system. Some of the other QA engineers were definitely just there to collect a paycheck, but that might be a pro for some people.
