A big company means more security than a startup.
Compensation and benefits are not really competitive in the Seattle area.
There's no real upward technical path; you need to move to management to make any real career advancement once you've been there for 5 years.
The company makes noise about mentoring, building your technical chops, etc., but that doesn't happen here.
Technical turnover is higher than it should be, partially because you don't pay any attention to helping technical folks grow technically.
You make noise about wanting innovation from the troops and then just ignore it when it happens.
Spend far too much time managing up, and let the troops just stagnate (while imagining that a quarterly meeting talking about sales is somehow connecting with the technical folks).
Pull your heads out, look around, and get your technical house in order. The amount of technical design debt here is staggering.

It was okay. They expected someone more in touch with C programming basics and more fundamental concepts. No DSA or system design questions were asked, which is what I had prepared for. The overall process was pretty quick. The recruiter scheduled a
1 Technical + 3 Virtual onsite. Overall experience was good, but I was rejected with positive feedback, as they were looking for someone with more experience. If they had read my resume, they could have quickly determined this.
