Dell has a great work-from-home option. The work-life balance carries [weight/importance] across different teams within the company. My team was working for 60 hours a week for almost a year. A lot of folks got burnt out and left. Management woke up, and things have been getting better now.
Politics is an important aspect of your career at Dell. But if you do not have any major ambitions and want a steady job with good work-life balance, it is perfect. Just be prepared that people with lesser experience and knowledge will zoom past you.
