The biggest drawback for me is that the environment I work at is way competitive and passive-aggressive. I am sure 30 percent of the time is spent by many employees just watching their backs and dealing with internal politics. I have no idea why some teams here don't work collaboratively enough.
To middle/lower management: Do manage people, not just priorities.
