Process

It is 2024, and yet no look-up is allowed.

I was under the impression of interviewing for a Software Developer job. Instead, I got a bunch of beginner questions and questions that can be looked up easily on the internet.

It tells me enough about the team I was about to join.

How do you convert JSON into a string?

Some extremely simple regex questions.

Pros: The team I was working on was great. We were a bit separate from Deloitte (at a different location) as a prototyping team. We got to work on different projects with a bunch of cool new technologies and had the freedom to explore. Lots of flexibility on our team. Even as a co-op, I could take days off, had benefits, and could work flex hours.

Cons: The bureaucracy of working at a big company. There's lots of paperwork to fill out when dealing with the main office.
